In a world where everything is mass-produced through machinery, anything handmade is exceptional and one-of-a-kind.

The story began in 1960; My father, G Narayana Rao, started his career as a domestic distributor of handcrafted crochet products to organizations in  India. We grew up seeing our neighbourhood knit crochet designs and became emotionally immersed in the artistry. We adored each piece's uniqueness and were fascinated by the fact that no machine could replicate the technique. Each product makes the customer feels that it is truly one-of-a-kind and truly special to themselves. These characteristics strengthened our passion for crochet art. 

My elder brother G N Rao was so fascinated and established a manufacturing firm in 1974 to export 100% handcrafted crochet items to regions across the globe. Later in 1990, I (G Kantthaji) and my younger brother(G Srinivas Rao) joined the business and implemented various strategies aimed primarily at overseas exports. With over 40 years of industry experience, we established Crochiah to supply high-quality Handmade Crochet - Home Textiles and Garment Products.

With the growth of the business over the years, we hired thousands of Skilled Artisans and equipped our company with various types of Production Machinery for cushion covers and bed linen products.

Our products are now exported to many countries all around the world.
